Fluke FoodPro Plus Food Safety Thermometer Details

An upgraded version of Fluke's FoodPro thermometer, the FoodPro plus includes the same quality infrared sensor found on the other device and also includes a fold-out probe for carrying out exact measurements of internal food temperature.

The main infrared thermometer function of the FoodPro Plus makes this an absolutely ideal product for kitchens and any other area where food is prepared. The IR technology built into the unit means that temperature of food, ovens and other applications can be evaluated without the need to make physical contact with the object being tested, increasing safety and decreasing the risk of contamination by using conventional probe-style thermometers. This mode also includes a built-in light pointer, making it easy to determine the point to be tested.

When using the IR mode of the FoodPro Plus the device can measure between -35 ºC to 275 ºC, making this device ideal for use in everything from freezers to extremely hot ovens. This temperature range is also improved compared to the lesser model, the FoodPro. When using the probe (which is built into the device and folds away for easy storage) the FoodPro Plus can measure temperature levels from -40 to 200°C with a high degree of accuracy.

Both Fluke FoodPro thermometers are hand washable to prevent contaminants when using the probe mode. They also include HACCP check lights which immediately indicate safe or potentially unsafe holding temperatures via the use of coloured green and red LED lights.
